About Me

Producing at heart is about solutions that ensure the ultimate result of a project in the most cost-effective, timely, and most importantly, the best possible product for its target audience. I firmly believe that the work I do is primarily for people. I have to ensure that the clients that I work with deliver the highest quality project; but also assist the clients in achieving the most positive and appropriate response from their audience.

I got my humble beginnings working in television in a place well known for its booming television and film industry: Minneapolis, Minnesota. It was there that I got my foot in the door working for Drive Thru TV. After that I was offered a position in Los Angeles, California, a city slightly less well known for its television and film industry than Minneapolis. During my two and a half years in L.A., I worked as a production coordinator for Warner Brothers/Telepictures on the syndicated television show ElimiDate. Working on a show such as ElimiDate was very eye-opening and it facilitated a great deal of personal and professional growth. Afterwards, I moved back to Minnesota to produce and direct commercials for ShopNBC. Following three years with ShopNBC, I was driven by an abundance of opportunity and a desire to live on the coast to pursue freelance work in Seattle, Washington. Since that time, I have worked on high profile projects for Blank Design and Superfad Seattle including Overstock.com, HBO, Microsoft Mobile, and Comcast National.

Creative production is a dynamic and energetic profession. Each day brings new challenges, obstacles and immediate changes. I thrive on such sudden variations both personally and professionally. I am constantly trying to find new ways to achieve a certain visual aesthetic with new technologies and cost effective solutions. At the end of the day I do what I do because the creative world is my life.
